Consulting Services

for organisational change makers

  1. Support employee wellbeing through policies and practices

  2. Engage people with lived experience ethically and effectively

Support Employee Wellbeing

Employees don’t need free yoga classes and artisanal coffee at the office. To start, people want decent salaries, generous time off policies, sick leave, and affordable health care (including mental health care). On top of that, people want a healthy and respectful place to spend most of their waking hours of the day.

This all sounds simple. Basic even. But it’s less common and harder than it looks. The work place is often not designed for human flourishing. It doesn’t have to be that way.

Work with Nghe Consulting to:

  • Move beyond policies and practices aimed at avoiding harm and actively promote staff wellbeing

  • Develop and implement trauma-informed polices and practices while remaining employers and not health care providers

  • Prevent or address burnout and vicarious trauma

Engage People with Lived Experiences

The people who are most affected by an injustice must be included in conversations that directly impact their lives. A common term to refer to affected people is ‘people with lived experience.’ There is growing recognition and implementation of lived experience engagement across health and social care, the non-profit/charity sector, social impact work, and even government agencies. But desire and commitment doesn’t translate into requisite skills and capacity for engaging people with lived experience ethically and effectively.

Work with Nghe Consulting to:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to your staff who supervise or lead lived experience engagement programmes

  • Co-design a programme or research project that centres patient/public involvement, co-production, and/or other participatory methods

  • Train your department/team on best practices for engaging people with lived experience
