If none of these options meet your needs, but you are interested in working together, reach out anyway. I’m happy to discuss bespoke solutions for your current situation.
“I love job searching.” Said no one ever. In fact, you might even feel dread about it.
If you are a someone who is racially minoritised, disabled, over the age of 40, and/or identify as a woman or gender non-conforming, the job search is notoriously hard. On top of that, you are someone who lives with purpose and wants your job to create meaningful impact in the world.
You don’t want just any job. You want one that is worth the trade of most of your waking hours.
You know you are competent and can probably manage the job search on your own. But you are losing steam, unsure if you are on the right track, and just need someone who is outside of your social circles to guide you.
Work with me and you will get:
Kindness and curiosity: What will be most supportive to you right now?
Trauma-aware support: If you want to share, what are some interpersonal and systemic trauma wounds that are interfering with your job search?
Respect for you as a whole person: Where does this career transition fit into your wider life?
Adaptability: Neurodivergent, parenting children under 3, or just have a lot going on? We will discuss what approach(es) work(s) best for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We get to know each other a little bit to see if we are a good fit. You ask me questions to learn more about how I work, and I will ask you questions to make sure I can support you moving forward. I also hope to offer you at least one useful tip before we end the call.
Some questions I might ask:
Why now? What led you to seek coaching with me now?
What career search support have you had so far, even if informally?
What are the specific challenges you are facing? (e.g. not getting shortlisted, entering a new industry, etc?)
Do you prefer Google or Microsoft applications? (So I can set up next steps if you want to work together)
We can also talk brass tacks such as payment details and meeting scheduling.
If we decide to work together, I will ask you to send me your most recent cover letter and resume/CV. If you are wiling to send this before our initial consultation meeting, it will help me give you a better sense of how I might be able to assist you.

These are practical tools to help you stay accountable to your own goals and commitments. Are you someone who needs a deadline to get things done? I’ll suggest a deadline and hold you to it. Do you need a text message reminder about your goals for the week? I’m on it. We will discuss other strategies that can/might/already work for you.

The high end of my sliding scale is what I can charge for my services at market rate, given my skills and experiences.
If you are unable to pay this amount, and we are still a good fit for working together, we can discuss a reduced rate.
The low end of my sliding scale is the minimum I can offer for my services in exchange for my time and effort. If you are unable to pay the lower end of my sliding scale, you can request to be added to my waitlist for pro-bono services.

Yes, but these spots are usually full. We will still need to have a consultation call to make sure we are a good fit.
